Woman found dead in Koroandal highway identified

KORONADAL CITY - A woman believed to have been hit by a speeding vehicle ormolested on board a van and dumped along the national highway here the other night has been identified.Police said a certain Rex Binas of Barangay Rotunda, Koronadal City claimed the woman, Sunshine Brameda, 21,was his live-in partner.Brameda was found by responding traffic enforcers and rescue units bloodied andlifeless along the national highway in BarangayCarpenter Hillat past 11 p.m.Binas said his partner told him she will visit her parents in Barangay Namnama, also in Koronadal City.But Binas could not explain why Brameda reached as far as Barangay Carpenter Hill, several kilometers away.He said going to Barangay Namnama from Barangay Rotunda, one would no longer pass by Barangay Carpenter Hill.Quoting a statement from a witness,Barangay Carpenter Hill Chairperson Benedicto Pastera said the girl was believed to have beendumpedfrom a speeding van.
