Kidapawan City rounding up suspected drug pushers, users

KIDAPAWAN CITY
(Sept. 4/NDBC) – A suspected drug pusher is now languishing in jail after he
was arrested in a buy bust operation by joint operatives of the police and
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Kidapawan City Tuesday afternoon,
authorities said.
The suspect,Simlar Gaos
Emam, alias Datu, resident of Sitio Pinantao, Barnagay Sudapen, Kidapawan City
was arrested during a drug buy bust operation at about 2 p.m.
He did not
resist arrest.
Police and
PDEA agents seized a heat sealedsachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride and PDEA
charged him with violation of Regpublic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous
Drugs Act.
Prior to Emam’s
arrest, police and PDEA agents also arrested suspected pusher Zainudin Losada
Jay alias Odin.
Kidapawan City
Mayor Joseph Evangelista has ordered the police to get rid the city with people
involved in illegal drug trade after reports showed many of them were involved
in petty crimes such as murder and robbery. (NDBC)
