KORONADAL CITY - Police and workers of a Koronadal warehouse believed the man who shot dead the compound's security guard was known to the victim.Investigation was still going on but initial crime scene probeshowed there was no forcible entry.Randy Rasique arrived at the compound and discovered the lifeless body of Rannie Catas, 51 of New Iloilo, Tantangan, South Cotabato at 6:30 a.m. Friday. It appears Catas know the person or persons and allowed them inside the compound, said Randy Rasique, worker of Fast Distribution Corporation, distributor of Nestle products. Nakibot ko sir open ang gate, ginsilip ko, may ara dugo sa guard house(I was surprised the gate was open, I saw blood at the guard house), Rasique told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida.Supt. Barney Condes, Koronadal City director, is yet to receive the final report. Rasique believed the security guard was killed the night before his remains was discovered.The guard sustained gunshot wounds in the head and body.
