BARMM provides assistance to quake victims

The Bangsamoro Government through its Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidents (READI) has distributed 11, 895 bottled water to affected residents of the series of earthquakes in North Cotabato and Kidapawan City on Friday, November 1.

Series of earthquakes have struck parts of Mindanao over the past couple of weeks causing damage to several infrastructures and some casualties including the death of a number of individuals.

Lawyer Naguib Sinarimbo, Bangsamoro Government spokesperson and minister of interior and local government, has called on the public to help in providing assistance to the affected families.

"We are therefore appealing to our people to extend assistance to the victims of the earthquakes in North Cotabato," Sinarimbo said.

As of writing, the READI-BARMM is still monitoring the affected areas and evaluating the assistance needed. (Bureau of Public Information)
