KIDAPAWAN CITY
– Two cases of suicide involving teenagers were reported in President Roxas and
Makilala, all in North Cotabato.

Police reports
said a teenager committed suicide in President Roxas Thursday by hanging after
he was allegedly abandoned by his unidentified girl friend.

A first year
college student of Makilala, North Cotabato also committed suicide when his
girl friend allegedly broke up with him, police said.

Eva, mother of
the Pres. Roxas teenager, believed there was no foul play in her son'scase.

President
Roxas PNP said Eva told police investigators she found her son lifeless inside
a kubo” (nipa hut) in their village with a rope tied around his neck.

She told
police that the night before the incident her son had a drinking spree with his
cousin with whom he showed his depression after his girlfriend broke up with
him.

The mother
believed depression forced her son to end his life.
