SHARIFF SAYDONA MUSTAPHA - About 20 internally displaced persons in a remote village here have appealed for more help after their homes were burned during the military law enforcement operations against lawless elements.The evacuees claimed their homes were burned by government force at the height of manhunt against Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF).They really wanted to return home but their homes were gone.One of them wasAbdullah Samad, 52 of Barangay Pusaw, Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Samad, who has seven children, believed his house was intentionally torched.Like Samad, the house ofEdris Alik, 42 in the same village, was also burned.Interviewed by DXMS Radyo Bida, they asked the government to provide them housing materials to rebuild their homes.No statement from the 6th ID about the IDPs claim.
