3 lives lost, 116 hurt in Kidapawan peaceful rally turned bloody
KIDAPAWAN CITY - Two members of North Cotabato police unitwere in critical condition following the bloody dispersal of farmers Thursday morning.As of 6 a.m. Saturday, based on official information reaching and//www.ndbcnews www.ndbcnews .com.ph, theKidapawan carnage had 116 victims, 23 of them were civilians, 93 police officers, two of them in critical condition.Two farmers were confirmed dead. The total number of those confined in hospitals was 16, five of whom were police officers and 11 civilians.Total number of outpatient was 100.Norma Capuyan of Apo Sandawa Lumadnong Panaghiusa sa North Cotabato told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida that two minors were missing as of today. They weresiblingsLeonor and Ondo Onel.Capuyan said those killed wereRodolfo Daeza, Victor Mendag and Enrico Pabrica, all farmer-protesters. The irony of it was thatmost, if not all,of the farmers who joined the rally voted for North Cotabato Gov.
