3 suspected illegal drug users arrested in S. Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY -- Arrests of suspected illegal drug peddlers in South Cotabato is rising and is counting.On Friday, Chief Inspector Dennis Madriaga, Norala town police chief, led the anti-illegal drug campaign which netted three persons idenfified asWarren Valenzuela, Jericho Echanova and John Paul Castillo.All of them were arrested inside the house owned by Valenzuela inPurok Que-alma, Barangay Poblacion, Norala.Seized with them were two digital weighing scale, four sachets of suspected shabu and shabu paraphernalia.Madriaga said lawmen also seized mobile phones and a motorbike used by the suspects in peddling illegal drugs to minors.Charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
