7 NorCot LGUs to get multi-purpose vehicles

KIDAWAWAN
CITY – The provincial government here will turn over Monday 28 multi-purpose
vehicles to local government units to serve more people in far flung
communities,

North
Cotabato Gov. Emmylou Mendoza will turn over six units to Banisilan local
government, three to Mlang, two in Arakan, nine in Makilala, two in Alamada,
three in Pigcawayan and one each for Kidapawan City and Midsayap.

The
provincial government media office said each unit costs P220,000.

Local
government executives of eight towns and a city will personally receive the key
to the vehicles.

In
a statement, Mendoza said the vehicles will be for official use only and LGUs
should prioritize emergency cases as stated in a Memorandum of Agreement to be
signed by LGU and provincial government.
