Another Yellow Bus Lines unit torched
KORONADAL CITY -- Another unit of Yellow Bus Lines (YBL) was torched by suspected New Peoples Army in the SOCCSKSARGEN region, the second in 12 days.Supt. Romeo Galgo Jr, speaking for the police in Region 12, said the burning incident was reported to have occurred at 11:30 a.m. today in Purok 7, sitio Nama, Barangay Katubao, Kiamba, Sarangani province.The bus loaded with undetermined number of passengers was heading to Kiamba town from Gen. Santos City when flagged down by about 13 heavily armed men. No casualty was reported, Galgo said, adding the passengers were ordered by the armed to alight after the driver was ordered to divert the vehicle from the highway toward a secluded area.In a report of Kiamba Municipal Police Office to PRO-12, it said the gunmen ordered all the passengers to alight.
