KORONADAL CITY -- Health officials in South Cotabato today reminded parents to tell children not to buy street foods to avoid food poisoning.The reminded was aired byDr. Rogelio
Aturdido Jr, South Cotabato provincial health chief.Speaking to DXOM-AM Radyo Bida, Aturdido said sources of street foods are questionable and must be avoided. It was difficult to determine how these street foods were prepared, we cannot say they were prepared according to health and safetystandards, Aturdido said.He said at the opening of classes in June, his office has issued reminders to all school officials in the province to stop patronizing ambulant vendors and street foods sold in front of schools to ensure the safety of pupils.
