BDA presents BDP to private, coop sectors
DAVAO CITY - The Bangsamoro Development Agency, the development arm of the Moro
Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has presented to the private sector the
Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDA) in an effort to gain support for the
development of the Bangsamoro.
Engr. Windel Diangcalan,
BDA program head and BDA-Board Member, Rhadzni Taalim, presented the plan
during a half-day forum at Park-Inn Hotel, Davao City dubbed as Private and
Cooperative Sector’s Forum on the Bangsamoro Basic Law and the Bangsamoro
Development Plan.”

core planning team Leader, presented the BDP and highlighted that this plan
addresses the quick impact projects and recommend indicative programs and
projects in the Medium to Long-Term projects.
The forum was
an avenue to promote the BDP, as one of the key sectors of creating mass
workforce in the Bangsamoro through private sector and cooperatives
intervention,” Diangcalan told the participants.
The forum were
organized by the SUCCEED Solidarity for Global Peace, Ecology and Inclusive
Economic Development, Incorporated (SUCCEED Global) and CordAid and also
attended by the BTC Commissioners, CSO, CDA-ARMM, and Private Sectors.

chief executive officer Joselito Libres, said his group was willing to partner
with BDA in sustaining economic enterprises in the envisioned Bangsamoro core
territory.

to have a collaboration partnership with the BDA in the field of sustainable
economic development enterprises,” Libres said.
Diangcalan
said the output of the forum is to make recommendations on the BBL for the
consideration by the Congress, as well as on the BDP for the BDA.
