Comelec Koronadaland 3,000 voters no biometric records

KORONADAL CITY - The Commission on Elections (Comelec) here today reminded registered voters that thay cannot vote in any Philippine elections unless they have biometric records with the poll body.Lawyer Richard Opinion, city election officer, said about 3,000 registered voters have no biometric records and this simply means they cannot vote come election time.Some of them have been delisted or remove from the official voters's list of the Comelec. Voters are advised to visit the Comelec office to activate records and submit biometrics, he said.Registered voters whofailed to vote in the last two elections are deemed deactivated and must re-register to qualify in the elections.
