Construction worker kills partner, then ends life in Koronadal

KORONADAL CITY -- A construction worker stabbed to death his live in partner then ended his own life by hanging in a remote village here Thursday night, authorities said.The woman was Roxanne Taburnal, 25 and the suspect was Roy Bordo, 33,both residents of Purok Paglaum,Barangay Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City.According toCarpenter Hill Barangay Chairperson Benedicto Pastera, Taburnal sustained 14 stab wounds when she was found few meters away from their home, an indication she tried to escape from partner's attack that happened about 8 p.m.Pastera said Bordo then told his daughter to bring her to the hospital after handing out P2,000.
