Cops arrest alleged illegal drug pusher

COTABATO
CITY - Police arrested here a man suspected of pushinhg prohibited drugs in an
entrapment operation conducted by members of the city Police Office No. 1.
Arrested
was Utto Camdan Kusain, resident of Purok 3 Bucana, Cotabato City. Police
seized 20 sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride from him.
Senior
Insp. Efren Salazar, police station 1 chief, said Kusain had been under police
surveillance for a long time after confirming he was into drug pushing in the
area.
He said
an informant tipped the police about the presence of Kusain along Jose Lim
Street. An operation was quickly conducted leading to his arrest.
He is
now in jail awaiting filing of appropriate charges.
Meanwhile, police are hunting
down a suspect in a case of agaw-motorsiklo” whose victim was Homer
Datumanong.
Datumanong told police his
motorbike, a Yamaha DT-125 was taken at gunpoint by a certain Tapa” along SK Pendatun
Avenue.
