Cotabato City elementary classes suspended

COTABATO CITY –
The local government of Cotabato City today suspended classes in all public and
private elementary schools due to heavy downpour early Thursday.

Aniceto
Rasalan, secretary to Mayor Japal Guiani, said classes in high school and
colleges will continue as scheduled.

Heavy downpour
greeted Cotabato City residents Thursday. Light to moderate rain was also
experienced overnight and Wednesday.

PAG-ASA said
an inter-tropical convergence zone will bring light to moderate rain showers in
the Visayas and Mindanao Thursday.In Midsayap, Mayor Romeo Arania also suspended classes in private and public elementary schools due to heavy down pour.
