Cotabato City investments up this year - DTI

COTABATO CITY - Investments in Cotabato City has improved with more micro-business coming in this year, the Department of Trade and Industry today said.Trade and Industry Cotabato City Officer-In-Charge Carlito Nuñez said investments poured in the city this year reached more than P800 million to date as compared to about P500 million in 2013. Nunez noted that many of the investors are from the city with sizable figure from national and foreign investors.He said more investments mean more employment opportunities.Nunez cited the improving peace and order situation, the award naming CotabatoCity as among the business-friendly city in the country and the government peace process with Moro rebels.
