Cotabato Light schedules power interruption

COTABATO CITY -The Cotabato Light and Power Company (Cotabato Light)has implemented power rationing in its franchise area due to limited power supply fromState-run Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) and the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.Arlene Hepiga of the Cotabato Light said the power rationing started at 11 a.m. today affecting power consumers in Malagapas Feeder Station (MAL-1).She said Cotabato Light only received 13MW supply from PSALM and NGCP this morning due to low water level of Pulangi 4 and Agus 4 hydropower plants in Bukidnon.Hepiga said the power interruption will run from one to two hours.Power rationing will be lifted once the supply from power providers normalizes, she said.
