KORONADAL
CITY – The Department of Labor and
Employment (DOLE) in Region 12 is now more determined to implement and maintain
its quality management system after the agency completed the reassessment
conducted by the Certification International Philippines and now recertified to
ISO 9001-2008 with the Provision of labor and employment services scope for another
three years (2014-2017), officials announced today.
In a
letter to DOLE 12 Regional Director Ofelia B. Domingo, Certification
International Managing Director Renato V. Navarrete said the ISO 9001-2008
certificate is valid for another three years until October 2017 and commended
DOLE 12 for its accomplishments which benefited clients and enhanced the
competitiveness of the organization.
Navarrete
also expects that improved actions will be consistently effective and
implemented and minor non-conformities during the reassessment will be given
attention.
Domingo
also expressed her gratitude to the agency’s men and women who painstakingly
worked for the QMS improvement and hopes that the support and cooperation will
be sustained for client welfare.It
can be recalled that in 2008, the quality management system was established
through the collaborative efforts of DOLE 12 personnel and was certified in
2010. The regional agency had maintained
the ISO certification with a status of continued registration after 3 years
(2013) of audit surveillance under the leadership of Domingo.
The
ISO 9001:2008 Certification has made the DOLE 12 at par with other government
partner agencies in the pursuit of excellence and quality service towards the
satisfaction of the customers.
