Driver-owner of luxury car shot dead in Alamada
ALAMADA,
North Cotabato – Unidentified gunmen shot dead a driver-owner of a luxury vehicle
along a national highway here Wednesday morning, police report said.
Inspector
Jeoffrey Todenio, police chief of Alamada, identified the victim as Andy
Ampusong Pascan, 38, temporarily residing in Barangay Rangayen but originally
from Lanao del Norte.
Todenio said
Pascan was driving his Toyota Land Cruiser (XVA-168) heading for Rangayen
village from Midsayap, North Cotabato when two men riding tandem on a motorbike
overtook and shot him three times.

recovered three empty shells of cal. 45 pistol
Todenio said
Pascan’s vehicle was hired by a certain Sambahan Macayon to attend a court
hearing at the Midsayap Hall of Justice.
The victim,
with his eight passengers, were heading to Alamada when, upon reaching barangay
Kamasi, the suspects opened fire at about 2 p.m.
All others in
the vehicle were unharmed.
Police
theorized personal grudge triggered the shooting.
The remains
of Pascan were already taken by relatives and brought to Lanao del Norte.
