COTABATO CITY - A magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit North Cotabato Thursday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said in its bulletin.Phivolcs said the tremor was tectonic in origin and felt at 2:20 p.m. 19 kilometers west of Kidapawan City and 15 kilometers deep.No casualty or damage to property was reported.Phivolcs said a magnitude 3.3 quake also hit Makilala, North Cotabato at 3:50 p.m. on October 14.It was tectonic in origin and traced eight kilometers west of Makilala.
