Fasting nears

COTABATO CITY(PNA) -- Veiled Muslim female views from afar the Bolkiah Grand Masjid, the largest mosque in the Philippines funded by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam himself at a staggering cost of US$ 48-million. Erected in 2008 on a five-hectare lot here, the mosque and its sprawling compound could accommodate some 15,000 worshippers in time for the month-long Ramadan fasting season to start soon depending on the sighting of the new moon.
