Fire hits candy factory in Isulan

KORONADAL CITY -- A fire of still unknown origin destroyed a candy factory in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat at past noon Thursday, fire officials said.Fire Officer 1 Joefer Fortaleza, Bureau of Fire Protection spokesperson, said arson investigators are still determining the cause of the fire on candy factory owned byMario Arciaga in Barangay Dansuli.Fortaleza said the fire originated at the kitchen section of the establishment and quickly spread to other parts of the structure made of both concrete and light materials.It was the first fire incident in March, fire prevention month.
