Former Chief Justice Renato Puno in Kidpawan today
KIDAPAWAN CITY
– Former Chief Justice Renato Puno will visit Kidapawan City today to speak and
grace the United Methodist Church conference and discuss the country’s current
state.
Puno,
appointed by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the country’s 22nd chief
justice in 2006, will talk about the country’s current political situation at
10 a.m.
He is a proud
member of the United Methodist Church.
The gathering
of workers of United Methodist Church from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will
take place at Spottswood Methodist Center here.
Jen Meneses of
Peoples’ Initiative Against Pork will also speak about the civil society
organizations' campaign to stop the country’s pork barrel system, especially
among lawmakers and the office of the President.
