Gov't turns over cash bounty to informant in Kabacan bombing

KABACAN, North
Cotabato – North Cotabato officials quietly handed
over the cash reward to an informant in the Nov. 16 bombing that killed one and hurt several others. For security reason, the turn-over
and the venue were not made public until after the amount, P100,000 from
provincial government and another P100,000 from Kabacan town government, was in
the hands of the informant.
Among these
present in the turn-over of cash reward in an undisclosed place in Kabacan were
Mayor Herlo Guzman Jr and Supt. Danilo Peralta, provincial police director.
The
information led to the arrest of one of the two suspects, Badrudin Alid, a
resident of Kabacan.
