Kidapawan's top 3 most wanted man falls
KIDAPAWAN CITY - – Authorities nabbed in Davao City on Friday the number three most wanted person here. The suspect, identified as Joel Marapuk Olip, also known as ‘Apyot’, was apprehended in his hometown in Davao City. Olip, records from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Team (CIDT) North Cotabato, is Kidapawan City’s top three most wanted person. He is facing at least two counts of frustrated homicide which happened in 2013. The warrant for Olip’s arrest was issued in August 2013 by Judge Arvin Sadiri Balagot of the Regional Trial Court branch 17 here. He has been in hiding for more than two years now, according to the CIDT. Olip’s arrest was part of CIDT’s Oplan Pagtugis and through coordination from the Kidapawan City PNP and the intelligence unit of the Police Regional Public Safety Battalion in Central Mindanao. Olip was the second most wanted in North Cotabato that the CIDT has arrested this week. On Wednesday, they apprehended in Makilala town a certain Alexander Icoy who was charged of sexual abuse in relation to violation of Republic Act 7610. The suspects, still under CIDT custody, would be turned over to the court before they are transferred to the Cotabato Provincial Rehabilitation Center, here.
