Koronadal starts curfew hours to minors

KORONADAL CITY -- Eighteen minors have been hauled up by the city police as it implemented, starting Tuesday night, a local ordinance on curfew hours for minors.Senior Supt. Barney Condes, Koronadal City police chief, led the city police and city social welfare office and city health in rounding up the minors in various city districts.Curfew hours run from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.After they were invited to the police station, police conducted profiling of minors for the record.Condes said the next time these minors are found violating the curfew ordinance, they will be asked to render community service.No charges have been filed.
