Linis Bayan on Monday in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY
– Village officials, non-government organizations and residents will jointly
clean the city’s major streets and surroundings as the city launches Linis
Bayan” on Monday.

Councilor
Abdilla Lim, president of Cotabato City Association of Barangay Chairpersons,
said local village officials will spearhead the clean-up drive that police and
military organizations are participating.

Lim said the
Linis Bayan” aims to develop awareness on environmental cleanliness and to
make it a habit among residents.

Lim appealed
to all residents to participate by cleaning own surroundings and expand it
through the neighbourhood.
