LPA sighted east of Mindanao on Christmas Day

MANILA -A Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 1,540 km east of Mindanao. It is forecast to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Friday or Saturday.The regions of Bicol, Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Davao and Northern Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Ilocos region and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with light rains.Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the whole archipelago with moderate to rough seas.
