Scene in one of the country's Comelec offices to register as deadline approaches
KORONADAL CITY - In anticipation of huge number of registrants, the Commission on Elections here has acquired additional Voters Registration Machine (VRM), a poll official today said. This is in anticipation for the coming of applicants and those validating voters' records, Atty. Richard Opinion, city Comelec chair, said.With additional VRM,Opinion said his office can now accommodate 500 persons a day.More and more people are coming to Comelec office to beat the Oct. 31 deadline which Opinion said extension is very unlikely.
