MIDSAYAP, North Cotabto -- A 19-year-old lady from this town was crowned Mutya ng North Cotabato in this year's search in celebration of the province's 103rd foundation anniversary and Kalivungan Festival.During the pageant night at the Libungan municipal gymnasium, Krislyn Jabonera bested other aspirants representing various towns and organizations.Aside from winning the most coveted crown, Jabonera also won special awards, including the Best in Production Number and Best in Long Gown.First runner up was Ms. Angelica Lobrigo of Mlang, North Cotabato while Rizalin del Mundo of Kidapawan City won the second runner-up title.Third runner up wassi Rica Jane Sabanal of Matalam, North Cotabato.The pageant night was star-studded as Venus Raj and KC Montero with Manila-based entertainers wowed the crowd.Libungan Mayor Amping Cuan said the town was honored to host the beauty contest this year.
