KORONADAL CITY - Their parents thought all along that they were in schools in Norala, South Cotabato until the police arrested their children andhauled them to police station for illegal drug use.The students, allminors were turned over to the local social welfare office as the law provides.Chief Inspector Dennis Madriaga, Norala police chief, told DXOM Radyo Bida that his office received a tip from concerned citizen about an on-going pot session in an old and abandoned rice mill in Purok Quirino Barangay Lopez Jaena, Norala Wednesday morning.Assessing the informant to becredible, Madriaga led a team of police to verify the report. Indeed it was right as four school children, still in their school uniforms, and an out of school youth, were caught in the act of sniffing methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu.
