PDEA-12 arrests shabu vendor in Kidapawan mall

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region 12 arrested a member of a third sex duringa buy-bust raid here, around 830 p.m., Tuesday.Anti-narcotics agentVince Lachica of PDEA-12identified the suspect as Mark Alvarez Sansona, resident of Poblacion, Kabacan, who was caught sellingshabuor methamphetamine hydrochloride outside a mall here.Recovered from the suspect was a small sachet of shabu and marked money. Lachica said they have yet to find out if Sansona was operating alone or a member of a syndicate. Lachica, citing initial data, said the suspect gets his ‘goods’ from Cotabato City, one of the areas in Central Mindanao identified as ‘source’ of illegal drugs. The city of Kidapawan, according to him, remains a ‘dropping area’ or trans-shipment point of drugs allegedly coming from Cotabato City and other towns in Maguindanao. Lachica said PDEA-12 isintensifying manhunt of some big drug dealers considered ‘big fish’ in drug trade.
