Social worker dies, dentist hurt in Kidapawan highway mishap

KIDAPAWAN CITY - A 35-year-old social welfare worker was killed and a dentist was injured when the Honda Fit flipped several times on Tuesday dawn.Reports from Kidapawan 911 Rescue Unit identified the fatality as Ryan Monta Saniel while dentist Raymond Saniel Dafilmoto, 30, sustained bruises and serious injuries.The two were on board a Honda Fit car heading home to Balindog, Kidapawan where they reside at past 1:20 a.m.As the vehicle was negotiating a downward curve in front of North Valley College Foundation in Barangay Lanao when the car's brake system malfunctioned which sent the car flipping several times.Ryan Saniel was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
