Sultan Kudarat security plan up for 41st founding anniv

KORONADAL CITY- Police Authorities in Sultan Kudarat tightened its security ahead of the 16th Kalimudan festival celebrating its 41st foundation anniversary. The weeklong merriment will be held at the capital town of Isulan in Novembr 17 to 22. To ensure peace and order during the celebration, police visibility was increased in major thoroughfares and public places like the provincial capitol, hospitals, and churches. Senior Superintendent Rex Dela Rosa, Sultan Kudarat PNP Provincial Director, said they already identified the number of posts and personnel that will be guarding them. We have enough people to man the indentified posts, we have our counterpart from the military,” Dela Rosa told DXOM FM Koronadal Saturday Members or the provincial security unit (PSU) will also help the law enforcement agencies to maintain peace and order during the celebration. To avoid trouble, Dela Rosa appealed to the people who will join the celebration to cooperate with security personnel. We all know that Sultan Kudarat is always under threat from lawless groups, we have threats of improvised explosive device (IED), we must all be vigilant to help secure our province,” Dela Rosa said.
