Too much liquor turned eve of village fiesta bloody in Kidapawan

KIDAPAWAN CITY – When people get overly drunk, normally things go wrong, especially if they argue and engage in heated arguments.It was proven among five persons, all under the influence of liquor, in a village here which celebrates its foundation anniversary.On the eve of the village birthday today, the revelry turned bloody with three precious lives forever gone while the perpetrators gone as well.Police could not exactly determine what issues the suspects and the victims debated on.For now, Supt. Franklin Anito said police have launched manhunt against the two men.

operator and Undo Gumapac, both resident of Barangay Sumbak, Kidapawan City.

Bismanos, 46, a farmer from Pikit, North Cotabato after the two drinking
buddies figured in a heated discussion at 10 p.m. Thursday.
Bismanos sustained hack wounds in the face,
body and legs. Osorio fled after the incident.
Bismanos failed to celebrate today’s fiesta
celebration of Barangay Sumbac, the reason why he visited the place from Pikit.
Danny Hordista, 39 of Sinsuat Street and
Pablito Hordista, 45, of Barnagay Perez, both in Kidapawan City were shot dead
by Gumapac, a common friend of the victims.
Anito said the victims and the suspect were
walking home from a cockfighting event when a heated argument ensued.
Police investigators could not say whether the trio were victorious in the cockfight or they just threw in money.As the three discussed heavily, Gumapac allegedly proceeded to his home, took
his cal. 45 pistol and returned to the victims who he repeatedly shot.Both died on the spot and
Gumapac fled after the crime scene.Police recovered seven empty shells for cal.

Fedlilino Medina, 42, of Barangay Macebolig,
Kidapawan City was hit by stray bullet and is now recuperating at a hospital
here.
