'Where is our PBB?' DepEd-NorCot employees ask

CITY – Why the delay? Where is the money? Where is the performance-based bonus
(PBB) the Department of Education (DepEd) has promised to public schools’
non-teaching personnel?

Not
getting explanation from education officials in the province, some personnel
have complained to DXND Radyo Bida which for them is the office of last
resort.”

Refusing
to reveal identity for fear of its consequence, they said they have been
waiting for the much publicized PBB.

And
Dr. Omar Obas, North Cotabato schools division superintendent, has explanations
coursed through Radyo Bida.

We
are uncertain as of yet when they will receive the PBB,” he said in the radio
interview.

Obas
explained that DepEd teachers were first to receive based on the documents sent
from DepEd central office.

He
also clarified that the division office or the regional office have no hand in
the decision who will receive PBB.
