Cops warn of fake money in Koronadal

KORONADAL CITY - The Koronadal City PNP has warned the public about the possible proliferation of a counterfeit in the city after two men complained of receiving some. On two separate incidents,Cherry Mae Tinonio andRandy Dolormente, both side walk vendors who do business at night until dawn, received fake P500 and P1,000 bills, respectively.They theorized the suspects used the money at night so it would be difficult for them to recognize it.To avoid getting easy prey of unscrupulous persons, the police, in an advisory, urged the public to check and counter check the bills they receive.
