2 men latest shooting victims in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY - Killings continue in Cotabato City with two men as the latest victims.Two men were riding on a pedicab along Purok Masagana, Barangay Poblacion 2, Cotabato City were flagged down by an unidentified armed man, according to Senior Supt. Rex Anongos, city police chief.Without provocation, the man pulled his cal. 45 pistol and shot Erbahim Sulaiman Mariano alias Tato and Abdulsalam Huseein alias Edwin, both residents of Nayon Shariff, Barangay Rosary Heights 3, Cotabato City.Responding police officers rushed the victims to the hospital but they were declared dead on arrival.Last week, at least five cases of shooting and a grenade attack were reported in the city, including the shooting of Aniceto Rasalan, secretary of Cotabato City Mayor Japal Guiani Jr.
