KORONADAL CITY - Police arrested here a man who allegedly stole 100 pieces of pineapple at oncefrom a plantation in Surallah, South Cotabato Monday.Superintendent Benito Seron, Surallah police chief, identified the suspect asNico Tabigoon, 28 and resident ofSitio Tubungan, Barangay 5, Banga, South Cotabato.Tabigoon was earlier arrested by Dole Philippines security guardJonrel Fran for hauling 125 pieces of newly harvested pineapple.The suspect used a top-down tricycle in hauling the goods while the security guards were not watching.But the firm's security guards chasedTabigoon until he was flagged down inSito San Roque, Barangay Central, Surallah, South Cotabato at past 5 p.m.His companion, a certain Diego Juan, managed to escape.
