COTABATO CITY - Suspected members of the New Peoples Army, executed a farmer in BarangayLama-lama, President Roxas, North Cotabato, police said. Alvin Abay Enca, 38 ofSitio Tahuntong, Barangay Lama-lama Upper, President Roxas. He was inside his home taking his dinner when a man with hand gun barged in and opened fire in front of his family. Supt. Bernard Tayong, North Cotabato police spokesperson, said the attacker belonged to the group of NPA commander Aman and Jecko. Relatives rushed Enca to a hospital in Antipas but was declared dead on arrival. -oOo- KIDAPAWAN CITY - Police here arrested a 24-year-old man who tried to carnap two motorbike parked in front of an internet cafe along Jose Abad Santos at 1 a.m. Thursday. Baguindali Kali Muamad of BarangayLimbo, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao is now languishing in jail after his failed attempt to drive home motorcycles owned by Jason Rial and Rheniel Nocife, both from Kidapawan Citiy. -oOo-COTABATO CITY - A trisikad (pedicab) driver sustained serious injuries when a man shot him at 2 p.m. along Bonifacio Street, Cotabato City, police said. Allanudin Pinto Amirol ofPurok Sagingan, Mother Barangay Kalanganan, Cotabato City was driving his pedicab when a man named Abubakar, a tricycle driver, approached and shot him.Fellow pedicab drivers rushed Ameron to the hospital.Police believed personal grudge triggered the shooting.

When he was to take his bike at past 12 noon, it was already gone.
