2 men in shabu trade arrested in South Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY - A motorist from Sultan Kudarat province was arrested at a police checkpoint for possession of prohibited drugs while a 22-year-old teenager was held for shabu possession after a drug buy bust here Wednesday.In the city, Arfel Demos of Purok Bumanaag, Barangay Zone 3, Cotabato City, was arrested following a drug buy bust operation inside Samahang Nayonmotel along Roxas Street, Koronadal City. Demos has been in the motel for the past three days where he allegedly entertain customers buying shabu from him.Seize from him were shabu in retail packs, shabu paraphernalia, marked money and cellphones.In Sto Nino, South Cotabato, a motorist, identified asReynaldo Huinda Pabiona, 36 of Brarangay Busok, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat, was flagged down at a police checkpoint Wednesday morning.During inspection and implementation of PNP Oplan Lambat Sibat, he yielded two heat-sealed shabu, according to Chief Insp.Joel Fuerte, Sto Nino police chief.
