NGCP announces power outages in Cot City, SK, Mag, N. Cot.

COTABATO CITY - The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has announced a scheduled shutdown of power transmission facilities on Saturdayin Cotabato Cit, Sultan Kudarat, North Cotabato PALMA areaand Maguindanao.In a statement, Bambie Capulong of NGCP corporate communications, said the NGCP will shut down transmission from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.mand 5 p.m.to 6 p.m. She said the affected distribution utilities are pCotabato Light andamp Power Company (Cotabato Light),Maguindanao Electric Cooperative (MAGELCO), Cotabato Electric Cooperative (COTELCO) PPALMA, Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative (SUKELCO).Capulong said the reason for interruption was the scheduled repair along Kibawe – Sultan Kudarat 138 KV line. Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion, she added.NGCP customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption, Capulong said, quoting an NGCP advisory.
