7 year old girl dies of snake bite in Banga, So. Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY -- A 7-year-old child in Banga, South Cotabato has died hours after she was attacked by a snake Friday.Interviewed by DXOM-AM Radyo Bida Ernesto Bustamante, village chairperson of Barangay Lamba, Banga, South Cotabato, identified the victim as Xyra Mae Loable.Bustamante said the child was playing in front of her home in a remote sitio of Upper Lambukay when attacked by a snake, possibly a cobra.She was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.Radyo Bida learned the victim's parents only rushed her to the hospital when she complained of severe head ache, about two hours after she was bitten by the snake.
