Cops arrest man applying police clearance

COTABATO CITY - A man securing police clearance was arrested by the Cotabato City PNP based on an arrest warrants issued against him.Arrested wasAbdul Muarif Fernando Ito, 29 of Purok Sibuyan, Barangay Rosary Heights Mother, Cotabato City based on an arrest warrant issued by RTC-13 Judge Bansawan Ibrahim for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.Ito went to Cotabato City Police Office to secure police clearance for employment but was arrested instead.He admitted having been charged but was out on bail.Ito said he did not attend court hearings of his case since he has not received any subpoena.
Before securing police clearance, Ito managed to secure NBI clearance from its office inside the ARMM compound.
