PNP-ARMM to publicand Be vigilant during the Holidays”

SK PENDATUN, Maguinanao – Officials of the Philippine National Police in the
Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PNP-ARMM) have reminded all the
constituents of the region to be vigilant and watchful during the Christmas
holidays as this is also the time lawless elements strike.

The
PNP reminds the public to be vigilant of modus operandi of known any
criminal/gangs and other lawless elements during the observance of the
Yuletide.

Be

Supt. Ronald Estilles, PNP-ARMM regional director, said in a statement.

For those travelling to their provinces, remember not to leave your houses
unattended,” the PNP-ARMM chief said.

He
advised residents to coordinate with your trusted neighbors or the subdivision
security guards so burglars cannot strike.”

For
those travelling with their own vehicles, the police advisory said make sure that
your vehicles are locked and do not leave your valuable belongings unattended.”

He said all commuters are reminded to protect their personal belongings and to
assure that their children are always attended.

Avoid
wearing expensive set of jewelry and carrying big amount of money when going to
church, shopping malls, bazaars, and other places of engagements,” the PNP-ARMM
director said.

Estilles also sought the public’s cooperation on all law enforcement agencies. Your
PNP appeals to all Filipinos to support and cooperate with the security
protocols of the police during the holiday season,” he said.

He
advised the public to be vigilant, be calm and report any unscrupulous
activities and other relevant and timely information to any nearest police
station.
