COTABATO CITY – Anak Mindanao (Amin) partylist
kicked off its campaign here with motorcade around the city participate by
about 2,000 supporters and leaders.
Amin leaders, supporters and sympathizers of Rep. Sitti
Djalia Turabin-Hataman on board vehicles, motorcycles and Payong-Payong”
(tricycle) laded with party campaign materials filled the streets from 8 a.m.
Similar motorcade of supporters were also conducted in other
parts of Mindanao, a party member said.
Rep. Hataman, wife of Gov. Mujiv Hataman of the Autonomous
Region in Muslim Mindanao, is pushing for Islamic Banking System in the
country. Her bill is now pending in Congress.
Meanwhile, the Federation of the International
Cable TV and Telecommunications Association of the Philippines (FICTAP)
partylist also started its campaign here Tuesday with Estrellita Neng Juliano-Tamano, national chairperson, as its
number one candidate.
FICTAP is the largest non-profit organization of cable television
operators in the country. Its members include of small and medium cable
enterprises that have embraced the expansion from delivering traditional cable
TV into telecommunications and value-added services.
