Fil-Chinese traders donate fire truck to BFP- Tacurong

TACURONG CITY -- To help save lives and properties, the Tacurong Chinese community has donated a fire truck to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) here.On Monday, members of the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tacurong City led by businessmanManuel Ang personally turned over a new fire truck to Mayor Lina O. Montilla and BFP-Tacurong Chief Marjorie Jenna Aggabbao-Resurreccion.It is the latest addition to the facilities of BFP-Tacurong that also received a new fire truck from DILG and BFP National last month.The Sangguniang Panlungsod passed a resolution thanking the Chinese community for its strong support to the disaster risk reduction and management efforts of the government.Plaques of appreciation were also given to the members of the FCCCI.
