Elderly, sickly, young too, attend Fr. Suarez healing ministry

COTABATO CITY - Hundreds of elderly and sick flocked to the Rosary Heights Church as Fr. Fernando Suarez, the renowned healing priest, performed healing session Wednesday afternoon.Before the healing session, Cotabato Auxiliary Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo, DD celebrated the mass with Fr. Suarez giving the homily. The Rosary Heights Church was full, many were standing to hear the Holy Eucharist celebration. Your faith to God will heal you, Suarez told the Church packed with parishioners, mostly elderly and some in wheel chairs. Others in a difficult situation and could hardly walk.He said miracles do happen everyday, every minute, every second. All you have to do is believe in God and keep praying, he said in Filipino.A few have collapsed after Fr. Suarez prayed over them. Even those who have no sick at all attended the session.Dolores Obales, a 83 year old sickly mother, said she felt something special, like a cold air, over her when Fr. Suarez placed his hands on her head. I closed my eyes and felt his healing hands, she said. The mass started at 3 p.m. but the healing session ended at about 7:30 p.m.At 9 this morning, Fr. Suarez will have healing session at the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral for the parishioners.Later this day, the healing priest will proceed to San Isidro Labrador parish in Libungan, North Cotabato for similar healing missions.Suarez repeatedly told those present during the healing ministry that they should believe God above all and they will be healed.
