Sultan Kudarat village secretary shot dead

KORONADAL CITY
- Policemen are hunting down against a lone gunman who killed a village
secretary of Columbio, Sultan Kudarat Saturday night.

Police Senior
Inspector Teng Bacal, Columbio police chief, identified the victim as Baganday
Sinomangkay, 55 years old, secretary of Mayo in the hinterland town of Columbio.

Bacal said the
victim was dining with his wife at home when he was shot at around 7 p.m.
Saturday.

According to bystanders
there was only lone assailant who fled on foot after committing the crime,”
Bacal told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida Koronadal.

Sinomangkay
was declared dead on arrival at a hospital in Columbio due to gunshot wounds in
his left chest and neck.

Police recovered
at the crime scene were four empty shells and a slug for 45 pistol used by the
unidentified suspect who fled on foot after the incident.

Policemen are
still investigating the motive of the incident.
